Vinyl Wrapping Questions
Can vinyl wrapping be done on any surface?
Best on smooth, non‑porous panels: melamine, high‑gloss boards, most sealed paints. Raw wood, textured laminates, or peeling paint require prep or are not suitable.
Can I see samples before booking?
Absolutely. We bring physical sample charts to your site visit so you can see vinyl in your lighting. You can pre‑browse our Classic Range or Designer Range of colours to shortlist favourites.
What colours do you have?
Choose from 100’s of vinyl colours available in textured, gloss and matte finishes. You can browse the full ranges here: Classic Range / Designer Range
How long does wrapping take?
Typical on‑site projects: 1–2 days once the project starts. Large projects: we collect panels a week prior to wrap at our workshop and then finalize on-site in 2–4 days. Your schedule is confirmed at acceptance.
Do you remove old wrapping before installing new vinyl?
Yes, we can remove old vinyl if needed. Removal is quoted separately and ensures the new wrap adheres perfectly for a smooth, long-lasting finish.
How long does vinyl wrapping last?
With proper care, high-quality vinyl can last up to 10 years or even more. It’s durable, easy to clean, and designed to withstand everyday use.

What does your service cost?
Pricing depends on surface size, vinyl finish, and site complexity. For a fast estimate, use our online quote tool – accurate to your project and sent same day.
Do you offer guarantees?

Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, we take a 70% booking deposit to secure your installation date. The balance is payable on completion.
Is there a minimum project value?
Yes. To book an installation, the total project must meet a minimum value of R3,000, as each job requires a full team, tools, transport and a full-day slot.

Can I visit your office?
We wrap from our private workshop and don’t receive walk-in clients. We collect and wrap at our workshop, and install on‑site by appointment.

Can I use MoreTyme to pay for my vinyl wrap with ModiWrap?
Yes. You need a TymeBank account and approved MoreTyme limit.
How do I pay using MoreTyme?
After accepting your quote ModiWrap sends a Payfast link for you to select MoreTyme at checkout as your preferred method.
What happens after I complete the MoreTyme checkout?
ModiWrap receives instant payment confirmation and book your wrapping date.
Can I part‑pay with MoreTyme and balance via EFT?
Yes. Simply tell us your split preference before we issue the PayFast link.”
Are there fees or interest?
MoreTyme terms are defined by TymeBank. Check your TymeBank app for fees or interest specific to your account.
How do I know my MoreTyme payment went through?
You’ll get instant confirmation via PayFast and TymeBank, and we’ll book your project once cleared.
